Tourism Club

Tourism club is one among the active clubs of st Joseph's HSS.The club has various acheivemnts in its own credit. Tourism club has conducted tours to various nearby places.Rather than giving importance to the farther known places,tourism_ club makes a bold effort in familiarising the beautiful natural landscapes,in north Kerrala,mainly Kannur-Wynad districts.

The club has initiated various programmes like study tours,inorder to make pupil aware of their rich tradition.Tourism club also has planned to make a documentaryon the history of Thalasserry.As a part of the documentary students have conducted interviews with foreignersat Kalaripadashala (PUNNODU).The club also plays a key role in bringing out the abilities of pupil and there by creating new paths for the students to express their abilities.The documentary works are on its final stage,and as soon as the documentary worksfinish,the name of the club will be written in golden scripts in the course of history of our school.The documentary would be certainly a land mark in the pages of school history.
