  Moorkoth Ramunni

Moorkothu Ramunni joined St Joseph's School on 1st June 1922. He showed excellence in studies. Father Galanta, headmaster of this school, granted him promotion to IVth due to his outstanding perfomance in class IIIrd.

His father Sri.Moorkoth Kumaran was a teacher and a prominent short story writer in Malayalam. He showedv excellent perfomance in the subject English. He was also a good cricketer and a hockey player. He was against the castism that existed in the Kerala society that time. It was SreeNarayanaGuru's message that inspired him to fight against the inequalities in the society. He was the first pilot from Kerala. He also fought against Japan in the IInd world war. He worked at Nehru's office in 1947. He was one among the ten people who were appointed to look after the tribes for 25 years. He was the advisor of the governers of the states Nagland, Manipur, Tripura.He also assumed the position of the administrator of Lakshadweep.

  Vineeth R

Vineeth was born on 23rd August 1969 as the son of Advocate K.T.Radhakrishnan and Dr.Santhakumari. He had his primary studies at Koilandy Eden School, Thalassery Angels School. After completing his five year studies at Ooty Good Shepherd Public school he studied in St. Joseph's Boys' High School for four years. He completed his pre-degree course at Calicut Devagiri College and B.com course at Madras New College. He was able to achive appreciable success in all public examinations. He has prizes in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattom, folk dance, mono act and English resitation while he was studying in St. Joseph's Boys' High School. He won first prize at the state youth festival four years continuously. As a dancer he has visited various countries like Gemany, England, France, Netherland including seven Gulf countries. He came to the film field while was studying in Xth standard at St. Joseph's Boys' High School. His films like Nakhakshathangal, Kamaladhalam, Sargam etc are ever memorable. Vineeth is one of the prominent film actors in Southern film industry.
